...and the one true test of whether a LBS is any cop is whether they accept biscuits as payment.

Sainsburys white choc + raspberry cookies

Sainsburys cookies are fantastic and seem to consistently be on cheap or bogof...the Oatmeal & Raisin ones are a standard mid ride snack for me

See your point vernon-sez, but IMO it is biscuit based although may transcend the category in the true sense and cross into the 'confectionery bar' subset.

3rd for Choc Hob Nobs but I'm a milk choc fan. Walkers treacle toffee biscuits are also the nuts.

Speaking as something of a connoisseur on this subject, I still think the humble and ubiquitous Bourbon is the king of biscuits. Not too fussy, not too plain. Sits in the background not flashy or demanding attention, just getting on with the business of being tasty, satisfying, cheap and plentiful. Just right.

Although having said that, I am also quite fond of those German ones which are like hard rectangular rich teas with a slab of plain chocolate stuck to the bottom. Choco-Leibniz I think they are called. Only problem with them is eating a packet at a time gets costly.

Bourbons and Fig Rolls rule the world.

However dark choccy digestives, Cadburys richtea and jammy dodgers are also up there slogn with Garibaldis.

I think I like biscuits too much

Anything made by Fox's with cream in it or milk chocolate hobnobs.
Don't eat any of them any more and they are the things that I miss by far the most... 😥
