I wanted an evil sovereign, santa cruz vpp dh bike, a ti road bike, cervelo r5. All an investment too far given they would be crashed or sold on when the next fad came along.

Pink 224 Evo- had done a deal on one, even bought the pink stickers for the boxxers, but it never materialised ๐Ÿ™ Got a blue one now but it's not the same!

Santa Cruz Jackal, earlier type with the humpback top tube in shiny. Never had a jump bike as could never justify it due to my nads being normal size. Just a sweet and different looking bike.

Hated my San An, after spending a year building it up.
+1 on the Pace, also really wanted a GT Lobo, the later carbon K2/Pro Flex and I wish I'd bought the Intense M1 a friend mugged off dirt cheap.

Same here. Bought myself one in a moment of madness a few years back too. Seriously the wrong side of 30 to get the most out of it though. Oh well. It was fun! ๐Ÿ˜€

No idea why but the idea of a bike that looks like a Zundapp really appeals.

I actually had one, it came in the box instead of my Meta AM. I got to hold it and look at it. Then I had to send it back, momentarily very confused.

[quote=unklehomered]"**** me this is heavy, hey I've got a coil shock, sweet, no wait do I mean that, maybe I'd prefer one? Bugger me that is a slack angle, oh wait hang on here just one moment..."

And with a pair fox 32s to put on the front of it... ๐Ÿ˜†

I always wanted one of those Pace frames too.

More recently a Cotic Soda - they stopped making them just as I was getting the funds together - GRRRR!

Currently lusting after a 29er full carbon XC race rig - 'Dale flash is the favourite or a Canyon. Full carbon Turner got the pulse up too!

I rode one on a demo day - I lost my full suss cherry to it and never got around to buying one.

I saw a kid ride past on a Raleigh Team Burner when I was a kid and it was like I'd just seen Jesus.

Thebeard!

Do you still want a Soda, I have one I'm willing to part with. Medium size. Need to reduce the fleet.

Is the saddle a lot closer to the camera than the rest of the bike?

@MT

Sorry, but at 6'2" I'd need a large! Thanks for the offer though!

Or a Funk. They looked fantastic.

Flashy, I nearly bought one of those when I got my Quake, many years ago. Test rode it and everything.

Are you sure? It's not grey. ๐Ÿ˜•

๐Ÿ˜‰

I rode them a lot, BITD. Loaners from Scott Towers. Just wish I could have persuaded them to leave one with me, especially in that exact spec.

Really wanted but pockets weren't deep enough. Those tubes just looked really massive in the early 90s.
