Haven't you got a connection with Sinister Dave?

http://www.sinisterbikes.com/ridge.php

Looks pretty badass but still a light(ish) frame. I can't really imagine you riding something 'obvious' somehow...

Yep, you'll need something less obvious. In terms of full sus how about semthing single pivot for reduceded maintenance?

Del's 5 looks felixier than his Hitchcock so maybe avoid. Superlight?

Probably best to take the cheque to Craig and return to pick something up in your size.

design a new front end for the maverick and see if you can better it.

after all.. you have one of the best rear ends going as it is.

Any bike that dosent have a unified rear triangle will be an improvement.

How are Pronghorns ugly? Maybe you should try one first. I'll be shocked to the core if you have.

I rode one. (Pronghorn)

It was good. Ugly but good. Forks were bad, some DT Swiss 150mm things with a QR, about 1sec delay in steering response. Not good.

Climbs well, descends well enough too but a bit steep angled for anything too serious.

Anyway, as you were.
