The house insurance is due for renewal, and having changed my bikes since last year I want to add them as listed items due to the value.

Both bikes consist of 2nd hand frames and built up with a mixture of new or 2nd hand ebay/classified parts.

I know what it's cost me to put each bike together but in terms of a replacement value how do I work this out?

I think you work on complete new value, new for old isn't it? Take some pictures of the bike including spec in case your insurer needs it.

We have upto 9 bikes on our insurance, upto 2500 each (covers most of them ok), with barclays home insurance, was a lot cheaper than doing it separate. covered anywhere I think...
