What, youv'e only just realised!

I've suspected for a long time but the way that a 29er is given as the must have choice for anyone over 6' without any real justification other than "it'll look right" is getting silly now.

Montarius - if it's any help, I'm 6'5" 35" inside leg and currently ride a 20" inbred (110mm stem) an XL Swift 29er (90mm stem), both of which are very close in terms of position as the Swift has a longer top tube than the inbred. Saddle height 81cm from centre of BB to top of saddle measured along the seat tube (175mm cranks)

Just took a look at the canyon nerve xc (XL) standover hight. With my inseam (35"), it comes to a 1.5inch clearance. Is that going to be too close for comfort? I guess my inseam is calaculated barefoot though..
