Bike shop in the north west with good shoe range?

At a recent bike fit I’ve been recommended to get some new shoes. Basically the ones I have are too big for my feet causing me to claw with my toes at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Can anyone recommend any bike shops in the north west of England who specialise in the fitting and selling of Road and MTB shoes? It’s been suggested that Shimano or Fizik would be god brands for me to try rather than super skinny/narrow brands.

Could you just put another insole in the shoes?
I'd go to a sports direct store and try their offerings. Take your favourite cycling socks and insole to see if they fit.

Calling @onzadog - there is a very god shoe fitting specialist he's used somewhere around DOncaster / Rotherham I think

RXM Custom in Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield.

Dave really knows his stuff and has a massive stock.

Yep, RXM worth travelling for.

Need to message Jim and see if he's tracked down a pair for me

Merlin have good stock, and a showroom where you can try them on (exactly what I did when buying a set of size 50 winter boots a couple of weeks ago; not many shops keep them in stock...).

I was gonna say the same.

Check out they've got the sizes you're interested in before you travel though, obvs.
