[Closed] Bike recommendation

Hi!

I'm going to get my motorcycle license in the spring and I'm trying to figure out what kind of bike to go for. So far I've only ridden 125 cc's and I've practiced on a couple of larger bikes (Honda VFR800 and an old Kawasaki), but basically I don't have much experience.

I've got a short commute to work (8 kilometers) and I'd like to be able to take weekend trips here in Norway and maybe even longer trips abroad without too much discomfort and hassle. The bike needs to be reliable and nimble enough to ride to work every day as well as comfortable and powerfull enough for those longer trips. I'm 1,78 meters so some high bikes are off the table and also I'm on a budget =)

Any suggestions?
