That Scott at the top of the thread.argh.The dog taking a dump style frame was one.. but this is the dog taking an ass scrape along the ground to cure its itchy ring style of frame.It reminds me of some kids 24" wheeled full suss bike with a failed shock that i once spotted.

Some nice parts on it but i couldnt walk into the shed and look at that and think "cant wait to go out on this today".You would have had to be dropped at birth to think thats appealing!

Well, I used to look at mine in glossy mags, dreamt about it (albeit once only, and even then only really in passing) and the wife wasn't too chuffed about it when it appeared in the garage.. Even if I did sell 2.5 bikes to put towards it's purchase cost.
Fine, folk don't think my bike is porn, but I like it, and it makes me happy. Sorry if I haven't posted up pics of a bamboo 69'r with white rims and neon foam grips but I think niche rubbish like that is, well, rubbish.

I was unhappy with some of the posts putting folk down but realise that I was in turn, putting down folk who's opions may differ from mine. In my defense, Its been a hard night in Glasgow but that's no excuse..

You have a valid point there Dave. If you look at my initial link, you will see what I was on about when I said bike porn. Most of these bikes are pig ugly, or peoples built up mongrels.

Yes, they're both mine, but I do feel these fit the bill of bike porn... curves, technology and lovely details all add up for sexiness IMHO

psychle you can get away with it as your bikes [i]are[/i] "porn". Personally I prefer the mojo in white but Ive always loved white bikes (used to lust after the Nomad til I bought one, sometimes its a case of never meet your heroes 🙄 )

Surely "porn" = aspirational, out of most peoples financial reach? Liking your own bike doesnt make it porn if most of us could afford it (and whilst my Alpine 160 is quite an expensive build its so fugly it could never count regardless of kit!).

Not sure I'd be comfortable riding this if I had it

It's an Ari custom, made in Israel. I rode a rigid ss and 160mm HT (!) version a while back, both 29ers, really nicely made frames. Ari's brother works at a cool bike shop in Copenhagen that sells Genesis and Singular and we rode a couple of Aris out there. Worth looking up.

Obviously Mr Hughes has it bang on. I love really simple lines and the Ari custom and the English ss are hardcore porn to my eye. Never seen seat stays as thin as that.

That English with the special needs handlebars is so far from being porn it's untrue.

Sure, it's impractical, has no suspension, and clown wheels, but that's the point of porn - it doesn't matter!
