I hope you had better weather than I did last week. Soaked through to the skin on the Mossettes lift with the temperature at zero and with a strong arctic wind on top was one of my "low points".

You can't go to the Alps unprepared for that kind of weather surely?

Where did I say I went "unprepared"?
My original point was that last week's weather in Portes Du Soleil was some of the worst july weather they have had for years. It was 25 degrees colder in Chatel than it was at the same point the year before, so I hoped that alpin had better weather than me.
Is that ok with you?
