Can this be done? Son has CTC membership but obviously doesn't cover theft etc. so I suggested that he should have some cover for his new racer. No contents cover in place either.
Does anyone have experience of this please?

I had insurance that covered my bikes in a shared house just after I graduated and started working. No different from normal contents cover I think, you just need to know a little about your house mates.

I didn't get asked where it was kept, so long as was in the house it didn't matter if it was a public area or not. Mine lived in the living room.
