Hi all,

I wanted to say "Thanks" to the team at The Bike Chain, Edinburgh (near Tesco Cannonmills, you know... it's down towards the Botanics from Broughton St) for great help again today.

I was only after a spoke after a commuting *snap*, and I got great help and great chat whilst I was in. I do my own wheels and they gave me space to sort it out, even a pair of disposable gloves so my office-job fingers stayed clean =)

Thanks to you all. Mark, get that coffee machine sorted...

Cheers, al.

Spooky...
The very same thing happened to me today, I broke a spoke on the way in to work and went round to The Bike Chain to get a new spoke, after exchanging 50 pence they then allowed me to borrow a spoke key and also offered some gloves, which I didn't need as my bike must be cleaner than yours is Al.

Excellent service from the guys there and after a chat around their new status of Yeti dealership I booked my 575 in for a bearing replacement.

There are plenty of other LBS that can learn form this type of good customer service.

Cheers.

Well, seeing as I wrestled the eff'n thing in and all you did was tension it a bit, maybe that's why you didn't need gloves!?

I'm borrowing the Orange Blood demo bike... yee-hah!

you tend to find that shop owners who used to be just riders before they took on the business are the best and this proves it

has TJ given up nursing? ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

TJ is still a young whipper-snapper.

Oh and the Blood is currently missing a rear wheel as we've lent it to another customer to get him on the trails today. Should be back in our hands next week tho.

Until next week anyway.

Don't go near the place,

You'll wake up outside with a sore arse and a faint smell of chloroform after your 3rd visit
