but the best part of the whole trip was the BBB.
it was great meeting some folk off here.
but i have to say, Nick (wca) you are a star mate, and i take my hat off to you big style.
fantastic bloke, fantastic do and a fantastic location.

Bike version of the field gun competition -- take bike to bits, carry bits over/through obstacles, reassemble, ride back to start.

Had a great time at big bike bash

I did thank you Nick, but not sure you'd remember - you were riding round the camp site on Sunday night in the dark, slightly worse for wear 8)

My boys have been playing big bike bash with their playmobil ever since 🙂

1st guy who crashed at the lake jump. Not great quality but you can see the puncture wounds above his hip where he had to pick the gravel out.

and yes, he has been told to sort out the skirtingboard

Oh sweet Jesus of Nazareth; no need for that Nick! 😯

He wants to sort that skirting and flooring out; looks well dodgy.

Yup, £10,000. Some goes to the main house for the food and stuff but that leaves £8,000 to spend on cycling improvements!!!

How good is the BBB?

You turn up, have a great time and then we spend all the money you give us on making next years BBB even better*

*okay, they are actually making the facilities better for all the children and other people who they support.
