Q. (and I'm serious here), is the OP talking about using them for road?
Q. Are those saying they're great talking about road or off road use, or both?
Just curious. Really, I know very few who do or would wear bibs off road, and some I know do wear them on road rides. Bearing in mind my fellow riders are general trail rider types.
Most of us wear some kind of liner short though. Only difference with a bib short I can see is you have no waistband and has straps to keep them up instead. Given they're snug I've never had issues with them falling down myself.
