[Closed] Best way to keep ears warm?

I have, er, generously proportioned ears which get quite cold when riding. What is the best way of keeping them warm on a bike whilst not looking too stupid and still being able to hear? I seem to remember headband things that cover the ears, but do they affect hearing?

Maybe I will improve my aerodynamics at the same time too...

Headband thing over the ears for me. It's a bike ride not a fashion contest.

And anyway they look wicked with my waterproof shorts with the braces...

With a buff, you can use it as a headband or hat. Don't tell me you are the only person in the UK who hasn't seen the buff video that annoying ginger beared ****t?

Rapha winter hat is marvellous for really cold days. Or a buff. 🙂

Headband for me. I also have a skull cap but it has to get very cold before I use that.
