No niche

Best if a "british" brand (even though it's made in the Far East)

Don't take people's comments to heart. If you can't take a ribbing then don't post.

Sort out saddle angle and height.

Resist temptation to get coloured cables.

Weed your garden first.

If you're taking pictures in the nude, ensure nothing shiny is in shot.

Am I the only person who now deliberately doesn't line up their tyre logs and valves?

For my last "new build" photo, I stood a chicken on the bike.

9. Not really caring what people think. Post on a forum and expect + and - remarks. In summary, MTFU.

I like to see tidy crimpage.
No innertube chainstay protectors unless you wear a saucepan as a crash helmet.

Just post the piccie and sit back and take the reaming, like the rest of us.

You will feel better for it, if slightly violated ๐Ÿ˜†

Likewise. I've actually got a bike that I've done a lot to since I last photographed it. I shall attempt to get a midget to lean it against, a couple of vintage editions of Razzle and a pina colada to provide foreground interest.

Best to make sure it's something mainstream and looks just like the designers and propaganda men wanted it to look

Better still to be exactly the same as a recent feature you should be fine like that !
