Planning a trip later this year, and also want to take in Yellowstone and Glacier NPs. What are the merits of different times of year (we cant go until the 2nd half of July at the earliest)?
We've previously ridden in Colorado in late September, which is when snow often starts to arrive and there can be rain that far south, but the elevations of places like Salida are pretty high.
