[Closed] Best riding from a Llanelli base? Welsh advice needed!

Hello brothers and sisters of the mtb-pocalypse,

Me and some colleagues have a team away weekend this coming weekend, and have chosen to base ourselves in a nice big country farmhouse 15 minutes (by car) outside Llanelli.

The not-so-secret purpose of the whole weekend is to do some work and have fun together, but then quickly get out on our bikes 🙂

Our farmhouse is 50 minutes from Afan - where we rode in January - and we'd be (very very) happy with that.

But the question, since variety is the spice of life, is there better or different stuff to be done from a base in Llanelli that we might be overlooking?

Details:
- We have an afternoon and then a morning (so shorter, grinnier rides win over mad endurance-fests).
- Ability-wise everyone successfully enjoyed 3 days at Afan in a crisp but dry January and ride technical singletrack weekly (but not always elegantly 😉 )
- Since we'll be without guide, easy to navigate is important too
- If the consensus is Afan, that won't be a bad thing - this is a check rather than an absolute demand for something different
