Hi All,
Planning a weekend with some mates at the end of September. Last time I went about 4 years ago I stopped here which was great, but the prices have gone up a lot since then! I know I could camp, but prefer walls and a roof to canvas!

Any other suggestions?
Thanks

The best places to stop are at the end of the trails, I find. Especially the gated sections, as you can't really ride through them.
As to where to stay.... 😉 Those cabins are nice, well kitted out and you can ride out of your door. Only downside, IMO, is that they're at the top of the hill, so you ride straight out in to a DH without any warm up and then finish the day with climbing.

Lack off a pub within easy crawling distance is bad [at least for me it is]
Afan Lodge is excellent
I asked the same question couple of days ago, here... 🙂

try www.visitnpt.co.uk/placestostay/ - search for Afan Forest park in the search box and it will list all accomodation in Afan
