Got a branch to the forehead hard enough to put a dent in my helmet and give me what felt like whiplash two weeks ago.
Suggestions for best mtb helmet under £50?
I have a full face as well for uplift days. This one has to do regular 20 miles winch and plummet rides and very occasional all day in the peaks rides.
Ideally with a go pro mount for a light in winter or occasional go pro in summer.
Currently helmet is a Bell Super Air MIPS Helmet. It's fine but I can't quite get the straps off my ears so not a like for like replacement.
I have a 60cm head and wear hats under helmets in winter and a buff ( for sweat) in summer.

I have a Giro shaped head which i think means if you get on well with Bell, you will too.
Lots of cheap helmets on sport pursuit at the moment including Giro.
I've been looking for something new as well and have seen the Lazer Lupo Kineticore around for pretty cheap. Seems to get good reviews and is about £30 on some websites so probably the one I'm going for! Kineticore is their own version of MIPS I think.
The answer is one that fits. You'd be best off going to the likes of Evans Cycles or a big Halfords who generally have a decent range of sensibly priced helmets to try on rather than an online shopping punt. They all comply to the same safety standards.

I have a Giro Source helmet would recommend. Comfy not too hot not too cold.
I know it's over budget but I just got a spesh tactic with mips for £70 which I though was pretty good value
I'm using an Endura Hummvee Mips they also have the Hummvee Mips Plus both inside your budget
I just bought one of the Cannondale helmets from SportPursuit.
As above, one that fits.
But I just got a nice one from Decathlon with MIPS for £45. Can't fault it.
Currently using a 7idp M2 helmet and it needs replaced. Anyone know if the Fox helmets have a similar for?
From vague memory Giro and Endura helmets don't fit the shape of my head.
