Any discipline.

GO!

A controversial starter-

All about the function. Sod the cost, sod the form, just all about function, and that for me makes it special. It makes it one of the best looking, because it's one of the best.

Monkey, coming after the picture posted by fasthaggis, I feel you may have lost.

Fasthaggis, that's one that should only be allowed after the watershed.

Is that a real Iron Horse? I can't see the extra bonus welds they seem to collect...

That Lotus is a thread closer.

Current favourite (and more yellow) from the pro peloton...

If we go for bike & rider combined, this is hard to beat.

I thought these were the best looking bikes in the peleton for a few years:

All these road bikes are sending this thread the same way as the faired motorbikes did on the other one. If it wasn't for the paint & stickers' you'd never tell them apart. 😛

How about something truly outstanding from Hetchins.

[img] [/img]

Phwoarr, look at the lugs on that.

[img] [/img]

Go on, just look at 'em.

The Lotus is clearly cheating and deserves a thread all on its own!

Or, for British cycling's answer to the Michigan Madman, how about Alf Engers and his unconventional ideas on lightening components.

And, in case you can't quite make it out on the above picture...

Those bars must have whistled when at speed.

By the time he broke 50 minutes for a 25 Engers had abandoned his more extreme drillium efforts and concentrated on aerodynamics. Note the reversed front brake stirrup and hidden brake levers. Running a 57 chainring with a 12-15 4 speed freewheel.

That S-Works Tarmac looks lovely.
I really like the S-Works road bikes but I'd look a bit stupid on one being as slow as I am!

@boblo and @brakes

you got it right there 😉

the third bike down (Venge with Cosmics) belongs to Chris Buncombe who is part of Jensen Button's triathlon team.

This is what Mr. Buncombe does for his day job, so subtlety is not required 🙂

Super super picky but that Obree bike is the "wrong" one, surely it has to be his old faithful?
