subjective issue i know but looking for a new fork
dialled love hate takes a 100mm travel fork
so what should i get nothing to heavy
as ill have enough trouble hauling my fat ass up the hills
DT Swiss are very light but also very £££.
i'm going to say fox f100 rlc cos that's what i've got.
everyone else will say i'm lucky not to have died from catastrophic anodising failure.
Nowt wrong with RS Reba. 100mm of lovely controlable travel.
If you want pretty stiff, very light but higher price, Magura Durin. If you want stiff as a stiff thing, light enough, then Magura Menja. I use the Menja on my Soul.
Reba world cup, bargains from JE James'
Reba
2nd menjas, esp as you can get them pretty cheap used.
i ran mine at stock 130mm on my intense, before getting some pikes so reduced them to 100mm and now use on my yeti arc. also when i serviced/reduced them in dec i was very impressed with the build quality of the internals (esp compared to manitou whcih were the last forks i'd worked on).
mind you if i see a good price on some used 100mm durins i would be tempted.
I would say Rockshox Sid team, cos I've got them, I choose them cos they got great reviews in last months What mountain biking mag, they say they put most 120mm forks to shame 😀
I'd go with Magura - I've got some Rebas & Laurins and just swapped them so the Laurins are on the bike I ride most. If I was buying now I'd go for the Durins.
