Maxine Peak's radio play was on R4 this afternoon. Well worth a listen on i player. How tough was she!!(BB that is not MP)

Saw the stage play at the West Yorkshire Playhouse last year after the Grand Depart, it was fantastic!

I was her minute man once in a time trial in about 1968. She pulled out for some reason but still came to the start and gave the 15 yr old LittleJohn some nice encouragement.

Thanks for posting this.

There was an interesting article on Countryfile last year about her so i knew something about her achievements. A good listen though and definitely recommended.
