Clearly some one thinks the Bentley bit will sell cars.
Maybe I'm just not the target market, but that would put me right off. If I had the cash for a new bentley. Which I won't.

I'm the same, you see it all sorts of things. Story about petrol prices on the BBC and the pic is a nice looking woman filling her car up. Never a fat bald bloke.....Its a bit pathetic really in this day and age.

I'm with you on that. Seem like nice cars and if I had the cash for that type of car then maybe, but that sort of 'marketing' puts me right off. Who is it actually aimed at? I must be very sheltered/naive!

That Bentley video was creepy AF, and I'm not completely averse to caveman levels of sophistication in marketing.

I'm torn between appalled at the Bentley video, and amazed that Chris Froome actually has a sense of humour. He's hidden that well.

Seriously folks, it's a shit advert without a doubt but, sex sells whether you like it or not...and it's done its job cos, guess what, it's being distributed far more widely than it would otherwise expect to...

Doubt it. Think it's more about getting an influencer clicks/likes/follows, chances of Bentley or one of it's agents actually being involved with that in most markets are exceedingly remote. Doesn't help that she doesn't even seem to be able to say Bentley consistently.

We may not be the target audience BUT there is a target audience out there and they will lap up things like the Bentley video.
They are so incredibly rich that they don't worry about buying a new car or worry about what the rest of the world thinks of them and their lifestyle.
The company I work for sells cars in the 'over £200,000' bracket and NEVER have problems shifting them. Especially the limited edition cars with gun cabinets and champagne chillers in the boot.
It's all a bit disgusting but they don't care about my/your opinion and they can slobber all over young women and some of those women will lap it up! Sooooo..... :o(

The actual audience for that kinds of nonsense isn't anyone wealthy enough to buy a Bentley but the many many impressionable and way too online young men who think get rich quick schemes and acquiring women basically as possessions is the way to happiness.
Sadly there's a never ending procession of grifters ready to take advantage of that impulse, the odious Mr Tate just being the most publicly noxious.
