My mate dropped his bike the other day, and bent the back brake lever. It's a Deore 525 if my memory serves. Can you get new lever blades? Can they be bent back?
Not easy - I bought a new lever - But try your LBS - they might be able to order it through Madison?
I've straightened mine a bit, still works.
afaik from past experience madison can sort you out with pretty much anything shimano. they'd be the people to speak to.
What year/model is it?
Current one part number is:
Lever Unit(inc bushes etc) = Y 8S4 98050
Lever Blade = Y 8SZ 05010
I think they're m525s - google suggests 04-06 for production - bought them second hand off here, so I can't be over sure of year etc.
Ahh - prob this then:
Same code though 🙂
I got just the replacement lever "blade" from Madison via an LBS for an M525 brake a couple of years ago. Vague memory of it being a bit fiddly to fit.

Balfa might have some Dangerboy ones to fit? Did for my XTs.
Balfa? Googled and found them. Not a bad idea...
