Hi All,

First time posting, so please be kind!

Ok so I know there are several threads about Ben Lawers. However, I'm looking (I have searched) for any advice from anyone who's has (or who has attempted) a traverse of Ben Lawers by going up the landrover track to the col between Meall Garbh and Meall Greigh then on to the top via An Stuc and down the usual route?

Understand that there would be a fair amount of push/carry with this route...

Cheers.

All fine apart from An Stuc bit. It's a proper loose scramble upwards. If you're ok doing that with a bike then ok, but you do need both hands. There is a reason Killin MRT refer to it as "I'm stuck".

This is the An Stuic scramble, I took (carried) the bike down it but it was a bit risky as it's an open groove higher up and the bike throws you off balance.
Most of the descents you would gain in your proposed route are not that ridable really and there's a hell up a hike up to the Lawers summit (this bit largely ridable in descent though).
