You will have to get some Spank green rims to go with it as well.

I have a pair of the SPank Green Rims, and they look ace. Massive section-ed though (40mm). After all the vitriole spat on here, not sure i'd go for matching rims and frame again though.

Not with the blue decals . . . sorry. Colours are great though - just needs some black/white/green decals.

See what you mean, too 'busy'. Could lift the blue parts off with a sharp craft knife.

Seems a shame to remove the decals but presumeably the raised Bomber ones are separate so you could leave those on. How about a set of lime green or black M's from ebay. I bought an orange 'Bomber' set for my Tazer but only used the M part (thought maybe the whole thing would've been a bit overkill). You've gotta use those Bombers - orange stuff rocks!!

There are no zip ties on that down tube at all, never mind a zip tie strapping a front mech to the down tube.

I propose that you DrRS**** are in fact the mong in question.

mamadirt, yep. Had a good check round last night. Luckily the main decals are prominent enough to pull it off. ๐Ÿ™‚

Anyone notice that I built up the bike from filthy parts and a spotless/clean frame? ๐Ÿ™„

I'm not into religiously cleaning mountain bike's. Its a never ending job otherwise, I just flick off the dried dirt with a soft brush. I bet mamadirt has her time taken up all those bikes though ๐Ÿ˜‰

My commuter hasnt been cleaned in two years either - I just re-oil the chain and hey presto! I'm bad arent I? ๐Ÿ™„

is that why you buy a new one every time your bike gets dirty?
so how many santa-cruz's have you had now? 2 hecklers? 3 chameleons? 1blur 4x?

1 Heckler, 4 Chameleons (3 were medium) and 1 Blur4x. I do miss my Blur4x, the biggest talent compensator of them all- I'm keeping alookout for one those.

The yellow on the tyres and toolbox sets it off nicely; don't think the toolbox would look good on the trail though.

tic tac! that is pretty mad!

quick question. How did you do the paint job? was it pretty easy?

Thinking about doing my GT ht as its just boring silver. Doesn't have to be perfect but don't want it chipping off and looking a mess. + is it easy to get the old paint off without mucking up the frame?

giddyrob, google powdercoaters in your local area. There should be a few and they could strip the frame of old paint for you. The dark spare room/flash photography doesn't do the paint work justice...
.
Sell the Pikes? No, they are going on my Summer season.

I knew I'd seen that colour scheme somewhere before. Hora, to borrow a phrase from '80s hip hop, get off the tip. ๐Ÿ˜›

Having said that, tic tac bikes rule!
