[Closed] beginner single track dirt jump bike, recmmendations please

hi, my friend is 12, and he is looking for a beginer dirt jumping bike for a little bit of single track. his price range is £450, and would like advice fast.

got Maxmax frame, forks, post, headset and cranks he can have for £100 posted.

only used 3 - 4 times and in spot on condition.

could easily get a nice set of forks and wheesl with £350.

probably what he said, or the new ones complete are about £230 on merlin.

custom built trailstar with bits on ebay (buy one that looks mostly ok for penuts and spend the change doing it up)

or.............
theres a couple of azonic stelheads on SDH ging for £200 and £325 IIRC.

I've been dreaming through my next build for when i'm all fixed. Thinking round tubed, lightweight, and old skool style frame, maybe a atomlab, and 2004 marzocchi Z1's which will get some internal tinkering (X-firm spring, heavy damping oil, cut to make a big -ve spring and short + ve) to reduce the travel to about 40-50mm, Bulb hubs, D721CD rims, new saint cranks, 32-15 single speed, mmmmmmmmmmm
