Anyone got any tips for an affordable bearing puller that will gracefully remove your typical 6805 sized BB/headset bearings from their cups without the need for "percussive maintenance"? Especially interested in one to get bearings out of an Enduro press fit BB shell without having to take the thing out of the bike.

Yeah I'd seen pullers for that sort of money - was hoping there might be a cheaper alternative as it's not something I'll be using that much.

You can get blind bearing pullers on ebay for about 25 quid but I'm not sure they're the correct size.

Expanding bolts will fit bearings if you get the right size and then can bu used as pullers with a combination of bits of tubing and washers.

If you can get to the back of the bearing then threaded bar and washers / tubing

However if it is a job you are going to do a few times the correct tools will make life easier
