I've got a very small amount of play in the main pivot on my full suss (probably 0.5 degree). Its a fisher cake - the bearings drop in and are locited into place, I ordered new bearings last week but they haven't turned up yet.
I'm going away at the weekend with the bike and really want to take the full suss - will I hurt it though?

If they are sealed cartridge bearings I would take it. If there is play in any bushings that it may have, don't take it. I speak with some experience and I would use that advice with my own bike 🙂
