Can you use a normal (ie HT2 etc) crankset with a BB30 bottom bracket?
or is the spindle different from some reason?

Yes you can.
I run my HT2 on my Lapierre with BB30 with no problems 😀

Thats good news, do you just use a normal BB30 bottom bracket or some kind of adapter?
I thought i'd read that BB30 cranks have a 30mm spindle...

Oops I think I made a mistake...doh
I used this one http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/BBTOKBB92/token_pressfit_bottom_bracket
Took out the SRAM adapter and was fine,but it's not a BB30....soz 🙁

You can use Wheels Manufacturing adaptors to run a HT II crank in a BB30 bottom bracket
