Need something that will help eleviates some pressure on the palms.
Was looking at the zipp zervice course, fizik stuff or lizard skins dsp?

If you've got pressure on your palms to the extent that you need to alleviate it, your position needs looking at before your bar tape.

The Zipp stuff is very comfy, normally go for the Fizik Microtex but couldn't find stock at the time.

Have Deda on my fixed which is pretty good too.

e2a...maybe drop your saddle a touch also?

Position is currently being worked on as is setup.

But just looking as to setup properly I may need to move the hoods 8n the bars, so figured I could replace the tape at the same time.

I think of bar tape as an essentially consumable thing, so I buy relatively cheap stuff and change it every few months.

Specialized S-Wrap cork is my favourite tape to use. Comfy and grippy.

Just double layer it, like the pros do when they ride cobbled races like Roubaix or Flanders

Specialized Phat has a gel layer underneath. Pig to put on but very comfy.

Check your position too.

I knew esi were developing a bar tape but i didn't realise it was out to retail?, i'll away and google......

Otherwise Lizard skins esp as others have mentioned - it's pretty damn good and easy to fit/wrap.

Zipp cyclocross tape is the thicker lizard skins stuff (except it has zipp written on it)

I shall unrecommend Fizik, very "ridgy", you can really feel the edges of the tape where it overlaps. Nice otherwise.

Easton cork is not bad for £8 . narrow glue strip so re-positioning is easy. Seems very comfy and as good as the Roubaix tape I had before . Cannot comment on its long term niceness as its only done 200 miles so far.

I usually use fizik microtex stuff on all my road bikes but went for ritchey stuff for a change on one of my commuters as I have ritchey bars/stem/post/headset/fork on that bike so continued the collar and cuffs theme ( to the max

It's very nice, comfy if that's your bag and I'm very pleased with it.
