Cool, titec 11 degree ones will be ordered! I think the mary's or carnegies may be a little too extreme!!

Take a look at MTB specific drop bars. A lot more positions and your wrists don't get such a beating because you don't need a death grip on the rough stuff.

I was getting wrist pain on long rides with regular risers. Took a punt on some Carnegies & they solved the problem. I was also worried that the sweep would be hard to get used to after riding regular bars for 15+ years. No probs though, and I actually ended up replacing the bars on both bikes with Carnegies.

But note that you can't enter some MTB events with drop bars (e.g. D2D).

Well, it's not on their website, but that was the answer I got when I asked.

Maybe I should try asking again.

Brilliant event though, and really well organized, so can't complain too much ๐Ÿ™‚

I have found Mary Bars brilliant for my wrist problems. (and for what its worth drop bars a disaster). I've even leanrt to pump whilst using them)

Yesterday I ordered another set of Mary bars and some bits to get my hard tail going so I have something a bit more road capable than my FS bike. I'm to flabby for road gearing and the bars hurt my wrist
