[Closed] avid post mount adapters

I've fitted some new forks (from the cheap revs thread) and am having issues with the new post mount adapter I bought.

I was running a 185mm rotor with an IS adapter on my old forks.

I'm still running the 185mm rotor, and bought a 185 post mount adapter, but the disc is fouling on the caliper (on diameter).

In leiu of previously using the IS adaptor, should I be using the 203mm post mount adaptor?

Cheers,

No keep the 185mm PM one as its a 185 rotor. When you say 'on diameter' do you mean its catching the edge of the rotor (not the braking surface)? If so, have you tried a washer per bolt just to push it out a touch? Is the rotor the correct orientation?

yeah by "on diameter" i mean on the edge of the brake surface. Looks like I'll have to shim it out.
Will check the rotor is correct orientation, but IIRC avid rotors have arrows on to tell you the orientation...so i hope its right!

CHeers.
