Need an I-beam version which CRC don't sell. Anyone ordered direct from gravity dropper and if so did you get hit with import tax?
i bought the i beam mod from GD USA and yes i got stung for tax
its really annoying that no one seems to stock I-beam GDs over here
@kimbers...how much did you end up paying in tax. Post with current currency rates comes in at 210 quid inc postage.
about 20% iirc
"Sample,no commercial value" or "gift". Either could be considered fraudulent however.....
I want an I-Beam one too, anyone going there for holiday/business 🙂
Why not knock one up from some old forks?V simple to do
have bought all parts for my GD amounting to about 75 quid (virtually complete rebuild) no customs tax and the service was brilliant speedy and hassle free. Probably worth buying from them as the UK distributer is useless at ordering what you want if you need it the same year!
It's frustrating that the only UK retailer sells only a limited range of all the models available. I'd be quite tempted with the 3" version as although maybe not the best they seem the easiest to maintain and repair yourself.
