[Closed] Avid mounting hardware (CPS?)

I need to get some for some Code R brakes with 200 rotors. I have the adaptors, but I see there is also a cup and cone system of spacers that does with it as well.

Is it the same for front and rear? Also anyone know where I can get them from? I have searched long and hard but nowhere seems to sell them for 200mm rotors, although I don't really see what the rotor size has to do with it: Surely that is what the adaptor is for isn't it?

On my 203mm Juicy, the mounting bolts are a lot longer due to the adaptor. It's about twice the length of the rear bolt and it needs to be in order to pass through the adaptor and into the post mounts.

I can't seem to find anywhere that does the 200mm kit.

That's because avid rotors are now 203 - you can get a 203mm rotor kit - only 3mm - should be fine with your 200 rotors you could just shim the adapter?

Or dont use Avid hardware - just use other mounting kit for FR/Rr suck as formula?

These are Avid rotors. I was wondering that: I assume you can just mount them like you would Shimano or any other brake?

Take that back - you can still get 200mm Avid sweeps rotors.

Well the PM ones usually have slotted holes you can moved them around?

IIRC you prob have a post mount front and an IS back? That is why they are different - IS front and back are interchangable.

So you need a IS rear 200mm Avid adapter ๐Ÿ™‚

Ahhhh - OK that's a bit easier then ๐Ÿ™‚

You just need std CPS kit for 160 mm rotors?

The 203 adapters bolt to the existing 160 adapters with a std Bolt?

Sorry I was talking crap about the prexisting - that's only for IS front. Confusing myself now!

The MTBR is right. You need (and I assume you have) the 40mm IS and 60mm PM fitting as above which use 2 sets of std Avid blts ๐Ÿ™‚
