Simple one really (I hope) - What are the chances of Avid Matchmakers fitting my Hayes Stroker Carbon levers?
The clamp backplate on one of my Strokers has cracked so need to replace it but can't find any in the UK so was thinking of trying [url= http://www.tweekscycles.com/components/disc-brake-spares/avid-matchmaker ]these[/url], especially as I'm running X9 shifters.

no idea but my Hope matchmakers worked with Avid
I assume [ given it clamps the bar] that the clamp must be fairly universal but I AM NOT CERTAIN

That's kind of the theory I was working on.
Not sure if any of my riding buddies are using Avid's with the separate backplate and won't get the chance to find out for a couple of weeks.
might just bite the bullet & give it a go unless anyone else knows different.

I'm using Stroker Trail brakes ( not carbon) and a matchmaker with an X7 or 9 shifter, all fits together fine.
