I am in Bristol next week for a meeting - think it will end around 3pm. Is it worth a dabble?

Yes, not worth a long journey but definitely ride it if you're in the vicinity. I wish I'd had more time to get up to full berm & roller speed, could have done with another couple of laps when I was there!

Don't forget Leigh Woods (across the road).

I prefer it to AC, but that's probably because I ride retro.

Yes, I rode that too - I bet the locals are thankful for those all-weather trails after the dampness of the last six months! Found some good steep off-piste trails heading down the gorge just off the LW loop.

I did similar just before Xmas, work meeting in Cardiff ended at mid day then I had to be across to M25 next morning so I did a lap of Ashton Court and Leigh Woods then a nice little trail in Swindon, right next to the M4
It was definitely worth it, Leigh was the best of the three

Yes and you won't drown if you stay on the man made trails in either AC or LW.........
