After only 3 months of use, my Etnies have developed a hole. Any recommendations for some hard-wearing casual skate-style shoes.

Slazenger Adididas superstar rip offs form sports direct. I've got a pair of donnay branded ones for riding in that I've had for about a year the uppers are still fantastic but the sole is borked. Good grip too, and the rubber shell toe gives a bit more protection than normal skate shoes on the bike.
No good for hangin around though, you'll look like a middle aged dad with no clue.
