Took my sparkling new Kona Hei Hei out for its first outing today. Can't believe how nice it felt. I've been riding a similar bike for the last couple of years but theres something special when the whole bike is new and it just seems to gel together. Not a hint of a rattle or a grind etc.
Maybe I should buy myself new bikes more often rather than 'custom' building them.

Oh and a quick thnks to Paligap for sorting me out on my old frame ๐Ÿ™‚

Love the smell of new tyres. (is that weird?)

Yes, but then I like the smell of creosote so I'm not really a good judge of yummy smells (and I worked for Michelin for 4 years so rubber isn't my fave smell).

Tis nice with a new bike if it's been setup properly. My road bike was 'ready to ride' from Wiggle, except it wasn't, gears weren't indexed (really badly out) and limit stops weren't set, all good now though and I do find myself stroking it's carbon beauty when it's sat in the garage.

New car smell, now that's worth sucking in, although I was a little disappointed when I got my new car 6 weeks ago, first car I'm had with a leather interior and it still smelt like any other new car.
