Hi, I'm doing my dissertation on mtb instruction (I study outdoor adventurous activities) and the pros/cons of the different routes available to those wishing to qualify.

I will be sending out a brief questionnaire to as many instructors as I can to ask their opinions and correlate their responses to see what emerges. I promise it won't take long to fill.

If you instruct mtb and would be willing to participate, please email me at shameer AT gmx DOT co DOT uk

Thanks for your time ๐Ÿ˜€

Quite simple really imo.
Too many self proclaimed "experts" and the whole "industry" would appear to be pretty well unregulated.

BC or/and CTC as the 2 "biggest" and well recognised bike organisations need/should get their act together ๐Ÿ™„

I have my opinions (which I'm trying to keep to myself for validity's sake), but yes Trekster; a logical point.

Had much response?
There would appear to be quite a few "instructors" on here.
