Gore Pac-lite jacket seems to work better than any other I've tried, and I'm a right sweaty bugger.

I have no problem with excessive sweating. I ride in Speedo's and a string vest. Occasionally the Speedo's chafe a bit but this can be alleviated by the liberal application of goose-fat or lard

I hope that's not cotton string binners - a good nylon won't absorb sweat in the same way.

OP - yes, sweating is the one thing I'm good at on a bike. Wiggle's Event jacket (used to be Gill, now DHB - but I think the Pace one might be worth a look too) works for me as long as it's not too warm outside
