Next Sunday, the 11th we are having a get together up at Stainburn to ride top section, chainless.

http://www.singletraction.co.uk/?fn_mode=fullnews&fn_id=146

The emphasis is on fun but we have lots of prizes to give away including a Great Rock training voucher for the slowest rider on the day.

The only catch is you need to be a member of SingletrAction. The good news is its a doodle to join and you get that fuzzy feeling of having put a little something back 🙂

Da Rules

Start with your back wheel touching the wood

Your foot must be no further forward than the back of your front wheel as you push off

You must stay on the built trail - no corner cutting or the trail gods will strike you down!

You must ride the same bike for each run - unless your other bike is wholly inappropriate, ie, cross bike, rigid, unicycle, etc…

No running - if you crash or come to a halt you may get back on your steed and silver scoot yourself back up to speed.

PS - Did we mention NO CHAINS ALLOWED.

And good luck.

I turned up not knowing about the race so thought I would join in and loved it. Really good fun and came away with a t shirt and goodie bag. The only downside is I found out I'm not as good I thought I would be! More practice for next time.
