I heard a rumour that the commonwealth games trail is open. In the quest to not ride through 12 inches deep of mud all the time, I quite fancy giving them a go if they are. Any info/news?

Are they fairly weather proof in their current state? Fairly local (40 minutes away in the car).

Not really worth traveling to yet.lots of sections built but all dead ends.i presume the last thing they will do is link it all together.all the original trails are manky and cut up by the machinery.looks like its going to be really good but at the moment it is a building site!
