I have a Pro4 hub and want to fit an XD freehub - do I have to get a Pro4 version or will the older Pro2EVO freehub fit okay?

AFAIK you can't fit the pro4 free hubs on pro2evo because the spacing is different so it probably works both ways.

They are different, I needed a new rear wheel for my Slate and had to buy an XD freehub body in addition to the wheel, the wheel was a Pro4 and in their wisdom Evans sent a Pro2 freehub body...which of course doesn’t work with the Pro4 hub.

as mentioned above they aren't the same. I found this out the hard way!
