[Closed] Are brake mounts interchangable?

Evening all,

discovered I need a post mount to post mount adapter to fit a striker trail 203mm rotor to a rock shox domain 20mm fork. Question is can I use a shimano pm to pm mount on a Hayes brake? Shimano one is half the price of the Hayes one on chain reaction.
