[Closed] anybody ride a surly Karate Monkey

twice in the past........last one nicked.
by far the toughest most robust 29r frame available.....bar non.
very stiff, pretty hefty, nighon indestructable......just what a bike should be built like.
surly's are fantatic bikes, grat vfm.

Got two.One set up fully rigid and one with front sus.Cheap as chips and brilliant fun.Have run one ss as well and also gr8.The only down side is a wee bit heavy but then they are bulletproof and so adaptable.With the sliding dropouts u can adjust the wheelbase which has quite an effect on the bikes performance.Buy one,best fun bike on the market without the exagerated hype of some companies

love mine..proberly my favourite bike,ride it 2x9 and after a year fitted a 100mm travel fork...

im not a raver about 29er`s...just another type of bike,but i like it,feels long legged and easy to ride,great climber,way better than my On One 456...quick steering with the ridgid fork but more forgiving with the 100mm traval fork,
im 5ft 11" and mines an 18" with 90mm stem and it fits me perfect,
oh and its got the best ever balance point for wheelie`s 😆
mine has the monkey nuts spacers fitted and the Hope mono caliper dosnt need removed for wheel removal,
and its not slow 😮
