Looking at possibly going to work out in BC for a bit, very much like the idea, but aint got a clue where to start...
so has anyone done it / are doing it?
where's a good place to look for a job? dont wanna be a lift moknkey getting bike envy all day long...

Are you still able to get a BUNAC working holiday Visa? If so then the world is your oyster as you'll be able to work anywhere (but only for 12 months). If not then it's a whole lot harder.
You'd need to find an employer who will sponsor you and they will have to convince the Canadian Government that they cannot fill the role that you would take locally through obtaining a Labour Market Opinion. This a bureaucratic nightmare and can take ages, and I can't see an employer going through all of that for someone they don't know. Everyone I know (me included) came over here on a BUNAC Visa and found an employer that would sponsor them after working for them for a while.
