Their annual policy is cheaper than a single trip with the BMC- and we have contents with them already so thought they'd be a good option- am I right?

Didn't need to claim so perhaps they baulk later, but I did explain to them very slowly and carefully exactly what I was going to take to the Alps including the value and what I was going to do with it. And they said, that'll be the higher level of standard cover then (can't remember what they call it, but there's only two on the website). Completely unfazed.

i have m+s insurance but didnt trust them over travel insurance.
i went dogtag and always will after they sorted me out when i needed them

ask showerman about dogtag. I think he will not be very complimenary.

I use m&s home cover for bikes abroad and endsleigh for medical etc, their standard cover includes mountainbiking.

dogtag paid for all my surgery in canada and flew me home in bulk head seat exec class ๐Ÿ™‚
