Im running a gold one (9sl?) on my Pace. I find it does have a tendency to over/under shift, doesnt hook up as well on the chainring, compared to my old XT one. Just my experience though.

singlespeed chaions are good; seem more stretch resistant than most.

I have the gold chains on all my bikes(road, xc, and DH) except my cross bike (pretty pointless as it's usually caked in cack).

I run the ten speed chain on my nine speed block on the road bike,it's made for much sharper shifting with no ill effects.

They clean up pretty well too.I use those impregnated multi purpose wipe thingies.

Great chains...the only ones I use...although there are plenty of others.
Plenty for sale on Ebay, or try Charliethebikemonger

They work well IME, the powerlink is also way easier to get on and off than the SRAM one. There's a thread about the 10sp ones snapping on BikeRadar though, not had any issues with the 9sp ones though

I've got one on mine after I somehow kinked one of the links on the chain that was on my bike at the Twentyfour12. Had to do two laps like it before scheduled change over.
Anyway.....repair blokie told me to nip to the shop stall next door and they sold me a KMC chain. It's got a powerlink thing that is handy and cost £15. Apart from that.....it's a chain and it works.
I'd happily have another one.

Are the SL's (and/or the SL golds) prone to snapping? or are they as strong as say XT chains?
