What's it like using one on the bike, mountain bike that is?

I'm wondering if something like this might be good for those quick one hour rides after work where I don't really need much but would like a bit of water with me. Not keen on the bottle on the bike after losing one a few years ago and then there's all the muck that'll end up over it.

The only one I seem to be able to find the the Camelbak Flashflo, looks like it might be ok for running or walking as it'll sit in the small of your back when upright but what's it like when leaning forward on a bike, does it move around a lot? Or, I'm thinking of one where you can put a small bottle in it as I only need 1 litre max.

Any other packs out there?

don't camelback do a small pack designed for kids and women? That might work. If you can find it in non feminine (sp - too early) colours.

What about a cycle jersey with rear pockets?

Have a look at Innov8 stuff ... big in adventure racing, fell running, etc. I think Wiggle stock it.

I've used a Nathan running belt before & that's OK & easy to get to the bottle etc.

But I've been looking for a Wingnut Assault but can't find one

Wouldn't a cycle jersey start to really sag with a waterbottle in a rear pocket, specially off-road?

Spokeshirts sell some Wingnut packs HERE but they're not cheap and you still have to buy the bladder.

Thanks for the other suggestions.
